Quality, Integrity, Transparency & Multi-Dimensional are all characteristics this amazing organization thrives on.
Its honestly taken a while to find the right words for this article, as our level of gratitude extends beyond words for these two men. They have and continue to go above & beyond in supporting the vision and mission of OCGems. The extent of their belief in our dreams & goals, sometimes scares us as to the potential that lies within.

We took a bold decision; some might say a pre-mature decision at the beginning of last year (2019) to exhibit at the biggest diamond jewellery show in the world (JCK Las Vegas). (OCGems was the only exhibiting company from Africa out of approx. 2,400 companies, of which it was a great honour for us to represent our beloved continent.)

Having only operated in the diamond industry for one & half years, taking our brand to the International stage and largest diamond jewellery consumer market, was no easy task. The challenges & obstacles immediately began to present themselves and continued to till the very moment we finally got onto the plane from Johannesburg to Las Vegas. Nevertheless, both Mr. Smith & Mr. Cloete remained resolute and committed to seeing this dream come to life, as they continually provided OCGems with the financial & non-financial support needed.(CS Diamonds fully sponsored the exhibition costs for OCGems to exhibit at JCK Las Vegas 2019).The show turned out to be a great success and yielded an ROI that surpassed our expectations.
This is just one of the many examples in which this amazing Organization continues to support our goals & objectives. Other forms of support include continued rough diamond supply, financial support, mentorship (rough diamond evaluation) and non-financial support. Their contributions go beyond OCGems, as they have indirectly helped other small businesses, organizations & non-profit organizations. Our relationship with the gentleman above extends beyond “mentorship”, to doing life together and seeking to bring about a collective positive impact to our world.
